This family genealogy was prepared with the help of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, etc. by Christine Marie GORT Matt, third child of Harry and Sarah Gort. This living history is dedicated to those who came before, those here present and those yet to come.
This "book" pays tribute to the immigrants of many countries, who landed on American soil, seeking a better life for themselves and their progeny. Their visions should not be forgotten. This book acknowledges the spirit of families who worked hard, overcame obstacles, lived by good example and passed on their legacy.
My hope is that long after I am gone, someone else who shares the joy of genealogy will continue this history, so that it will remain a living testament to us all.
